Honestly, this post could be summarized with one word: none. Well, we do have the food but since gods don’t really have a need to eat. Plus, most gods prefer drinking (alcohol) to eating. There are big drinking parties in heaven sometimes. The 8 Immortals in particular are huge alcoholics (even before the word alcoholic has been invented!). Where there’s wine, at least one of them will be present. Or more precisely, where one of them is, there will surely be wine!

Also, Peaches of Immortality are a big big big favorite, it’s a little hard to come by though. Since even the most inferior of Peaches only bear fruit every 3000 years. (Yes, you heard me! 3000 years! Imagine waiting 3000 years for a tiny piece of fruit!) Not to mention the good stuff… well, they take 9000 years to ripen.

We sometimes get food offerings from mortals! Although, I feel like it’s always the same thing, fruits, cake, chicken, grilled crispy pork…sometimes chocolate. Why don’t we get McD**alds or Pizza as offerings I ask you!? WHY?

I mean, fruits are fine and all, great even! I love fruits, but after receiving oranges and apples for a few thousand years you kinda get tired of them. Really, it doesn’t even have to be McD**alds, it can be lemon tarts or maybe some blueberry scones. I’d be happy with those too!

Mortal food is great! Why can’t we have more of those in the heavenly realm?
