Mortals certainly have come a long way, especially in the last few hundred years. You come up with invention after invention. Things like computers, cars and internet. The internet in particular is great, I get access to lots of mortal knowledge now! Though I’m still not sure I get this meme thing…

Fast food though, is 100% a revolutionary invention! …I should think about decreasing my intake of McD**alds soon… I’ll worry about it later…

Really, it’s all very amazing and I really admire humans for their innovative ideas…. but did you have to invent airplanes? And Submarines? Do you know how many times I nearly caused an air traffic accident with airplanes almost running into me? Or how hard I now have to work to keep hidden? I can’t even get a break under the waters! You have submarines!

I used to be able to just gather some clouds and no one will look too deeply (they might comment on how a cloud looks like the shape of a cat… someone even said it looked like a cupcake once. I appreciate that they didn’t say the other thing they had in mind…). But now I have to use invisibility spells and fly extra slow so as not to accidentally run into one of your flying contraptions.

Though… I’m sure I’ll survive the run in…

Then there is the internet, as much as I love it, I can’t just use my godly powers to wipe people’s memories if I accidentally pop into existence in the middle of the streets anymore. Social media is a powerful tool. Granted… I’m fairly sure there’s an 85% chance that mortals will think it’s some sort of special effects and a movie is being shot or some sort of magic trick, so I guess internet gets a pass.
