Dragon Reproduction? No Seriously, where do Dragons come from?

Get your minds out of the gutter! Honestly, what were you thinking when I said Dragon Reproduction? On second thought, no don’t tell me, I don’t want to know! Let’s get some facts straight shall we?

There are actually several methods that a Dragon is ‘born’. I’m sure you all know that Dragons (Asian ones, not our namesakes in the west) are embodiments of water. Whenever a new river or stream is created, a Dragon spirit is also created with it. Through many years, the spirit will absorb the energy of the water and of nature and eventually they will gain an ego and finally gain physical form. These are Dragons are naturally born and become the guardians of the body of water they come from.

The second method is when a carp or a koi succeeds in swimming through the dragon gate. It may sound easy but the dragon gate is at the top of a giant waterfall that leads to the heavens. It’s hard enough for animal spirits to gain an ego and embark on the cultivation journey, but in order to reach the Dragon gate the koi spirit has to at least have a few hundred to thousand years of cultivation to attempt it. But those who succeed? They become power Dragons indeed!

Now the final method is when 2 dragons decide to have an offspring together. (Minds out of the gutter!) The two dragons will combine their magical energies together and from that energy an egg will form. After a while the energy will condense, and a dragon will start to form. The egg will spend a few dozen years collecting energy from the natural world and from the ‘parent’ dragons, then, eventually a new baby dragon will be born.

Now here’s the question, which method do you think I was created from?
